Celeste Pine has a passion for teaching and music therapy that grew from her childhood experiences with music in school, scouts, church, and YMCA. She was raised in east Texas. She came to the Texas panhandle where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy at West Texas State University. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology at Abilene Christian University.

After working in Amarillo as a music therapist in geriatrics, Celeste moved to Houston where her focus changed to early childhood music. She opened a private practice, teaching young children and consulting with preschools in the Houston area. When she returned to Amarillo in 1999, Celeste founded Ladeeda! Music Company (formerly Kindermusik Amarillo).

Celeste sings and plays flute, piano and guitar with a specialty in penny whistle, lollipop drum and kazoo. She is crazy about working with children and families, camping, rainy days, m&m’s, meerkats, eating desserts with friends, and riding her bike and scooter. She is not fond of drivers who honk loudly, creepy crawlers, licorice, or people who don’t finish their desserts.
